Hello Duluth! Come Celebrate with Us!

I’m excited to announce that we are celebrating our new Duluth office with a Grand Opening on September 12^th starting at 6:30 pm.  Since we are Different by Design it won’t be an ordinary event.

We are putting up a tent in the parking lot of the Endi building where the branch is located (2104 London Road; across from McDonalds) so this event can happen rain or shine.  There will be games, prizes, specials and we will be introducing Duluth to our World Famous Brat cookout.

 Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun, members and non-members alike.  You can tour our new office and even open a new account while you are there.

A couple of business footnotes: our Duluth branch has been open since June 6^th with office hours of 9-5, Monday through Friday.

We’ve already been well received as we’ve connected with existing members who live in Duluth, helped members from up the Shore and opened new accounts with Duluth residents who have heard about the benefits of being part of the NSFCU family.

Becoming a Money Master

North Shore Federal has always had a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of our members.  I'm proud to announce the latest example of this commitment:

Money Masters

This is a pilot program with a stated goal of increasing financial literacy among our members, particularly younger members.  The program involves cooperation with our schools where NSFCU has professional speakers conduct seminars on the fundamentals of personal finance to students in grades 10-12.

We've started our first presentations at William Kelley High in Silver Bay with the hopes of expanding the program to all of the high schools in our membership area in future years.
We hope to conduct 2-4 seminars each year and provide personal follow up for students interested in taking their financial literacy and planning to another level

Wish us luck as we tackle this formidable but entirely worthwhile and important goal.

LSS Financial Services

Your Credit Union has enrolled in a program that provides a variety of free services for all NSFCU members.  LSS specializes in helping people with their personal financial needs including credit repair, credit report review, debt counseling, student loan consolidation and other services relating to your money.

By enrolling in this program, NSFCU members receive these services for free and with higher priority than other consumers. 

LSS is a certified, non-profit provider of these types of services.  This is important to note as there are many “debt consolidation” companies out there that are not reputable, charging high fees and taking advantage of people struggling with debt.  LSS is an organization that NSFCU has worked with for many years and has a proven track record of helping people with their personal financial needs.
