North Shore Federal has always had a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of our members. I'm proud to announce the latest example of this commitment:
Money Masters
This is a pilot program with a stated goal of increasing financial literacy among our members, particularly younger members. The program involves cooperation with our schools where NSFCU has professional speakers conduct seminars on the fundamentals of personal finance to students in grades 10-12.
We've started our first presentations at William Kelley High in Silver Bay with the hopes of expanding the program to all of the high schools in our membership area in future years.
We hope to conduct 2-4 seminars each year and provide personal follow up for students interested in taking their financial literacy and planning to another level
Wish us luck as we tackle this formidable but entirely worthwhile and important goal.
